AEC is a recognized leader in the writing of aerospace and marine technical publications. Many of the manuals and documents we publish are used to support FAA certification of private, corporate, and head-of-state aircraft. Our marine publications include Owner’s Manuals and Captain’s Manuals for midsize to large yachts.

Our on-going staffing needs include:
- Technical Writers
Narrative Writers
Narrative Writers write and edit maintenance manuals, operations manuals, handbooks, catalogs, and other technical publications. They have technical writing experience, a strong mechanical, electrical or maintenance background and excellent computer skills.
Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) Writers
IPC Writers organize and interpret documentation and engineering drawings to write and edit the Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC). They have research skills and experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, and can read and interpret diagrams and schematics.
- Technical Illustrators
Technical Illustrators create and modify vector-based illustrations for inclusion in the manuals. This position requires strong computer knowledge and the ability to read and clearly understand engineering drawings, reports, diagrams, and schematics.
- Desktop Publishers
Desktop Publishers format, update, and review technical publications using conventions and templates; assemble various manuals; generate necessary indexes; and troubleshoot and correct errors. They have excellent computer skills, experience with page-layout software, and experience in a production environment.
- Quality Control Inspectors
Quality Control Inspectors review and inspect technical manuals for formatting, convention, spelling/grammar, and aesthetic purposes, and recognize minute details of graphics or formatting. QC Inspectors are highly detailed, with knowledge of spelling and grammar fundamentals and an ability to be flexible in the inspection process.
